Now that he insists on continuing his quest for upright living, is the leaping lizard going to be renamed Godzilla?
Jack pulls up on EVERYTHING and EVERYONE (including just plain trying to stand up all by himself) and not only cruises... but attempts to CLIMB.
LOVELY.
I see many calls to stathousecalls.com in my future.
My mom attempts to show him what to do once he is on his feet - her philosophy being: he's got to know (a la Professor Moody).
My philosophy is still somewhat stalled at, "he's trying to do what now?"
Steve tries to reason with him. It's not working.

I know this question is a little late and out of context, but in regards to the "Leaping Lizard" nickname, are you a Little Orphan Annie fan?
That was a genuine question. Just curious.
I didn't think it was ingenuous... I was definitely a fan as a child... is that where I got it from? Or did my mom start the whole leaping lizard thing?
I remember it started cuz I was looking at all these pre-natal pictures cuz I wanted to see what stage we were at... and after babies are blobs I think they look like lizards, and then I went in for that screening test and the first thing Jack did on screen was jump all the way around... like a somersault.
Now that you MENTION Annie, it does ring bells...
Godzilla seems to take less explanation though so I think we should switch.
OH and remember my parents (bitter over Abby's name supression) decided to name the child and had some L.L. name and we turned it into leaping lizard
In case you didn't know, "leaping lizards!" was the trademark exclamation of Annie's in the old Harold Gray comic strip (great stuff), and I think it might have carried over into the Annie musicals...
