Jack was over at my mom's last night while I did some errands (I know, I'm spoiled rotten). He was there with Gramma, Poppa, Abby, Bronx, Megan and Aaron. Needless to say - excitement was not a problem.
What was the problem is that he was so intent on everyone and everything around him that, even though he was starving that he refused to eat. OR nurse.
I didn't know that that is what was happening until I got him home and he drained two bottles, then snacked on two more before midnight. Sheesh.

Well, this certainly sounds familiar. Except for the part about draining bottles - I can't get Ben to take bottles regularly. I've succeeded exactly once so far with a 2-oz. bottle of formula. But I'm pumping more often now and am going to try giving him bottles of breast milk a couple of times a week when he's not super hungry to see if I can get him used to it so I can actually LEAVE THE HOUSE for more than an hour and a half by myself. (He's totally worth it, but I'd sure like him to start taking a bottle - or a pacifier, or both - easily.)
