Jack & Great Aunt Annie

My dad's sister is visiting from Boston on a mission to spoil both my children (and I'm not complaining) with cuddles and gifts (see outfit below).

Abby and Micaiah's Puddle-Jumping

Sarah and her sister Becca took Abby and Micaiah on quite an adventure today so that Steve could rest his aching muscles (Orange Sale Unloading) and I wasn't stuck trying to care for all three family-members.

They took along my little elph camera (a story in itself - everytime I try to send it along on a Sarah adventure I either forget it, forget it in the car, or - in today's case - it's out of batteries). However,
before it died, they took some fantastic pictures.

This is my favorite picture of Abby

And my fave of Micaiah

And my fave of the cousins (minus Jack)

Abby's Itches

Mom! My leg itches!
and also my other leg itches now
and even the back of the second leg....

And my left foot.

Is this special medicine? Does it get into your body all by itself, and you don't have to push it in?

You're so smart, how did you know that?

I just thought about it... Mom, I thought about it while I was sleeping.

I love you baby

I love you too. Let me give you a hug.

Abby's Prayer

the Dear Father God,

Thank you that we're going to make it
to 100, we're going to get to 100
and we're going to have a party

Thank you for walking with Micaiah and for all, all the while.
Thank you that I got ice cream for a treat.

Thank you that lunch bunch is tomorrow
and for dinner and drink and that we can have so much fun.

InyourholynameAmen.

(Miss Janet started sticking numbered footprints on the wall at the beginning of the school year and saying that they will have a party when they get to 100. Abby has been talking about it ALLLLL year. When something works, it really works)

Attention: Missing Whale Alert

Rosie the Whale has apparently been relocated. I haven't figured out where yet. She may have run off with Micaiah the Octapus.

Be aware, these fugitives may be closely guarded by Abby... if she is aware that their location has been compromised she will remove them to another secret location. The Mom is unaware of just how many hide-outs this Whale - napper has.

Jack contemplating Mommy

Jack likes the wrap. However if he is awake he likes to have his head sticking out without any neck support just looking up. He still has a thing for ceilings you see.
